What Is the Day Master?

The Day Master is the Heavenly Stem of your Day Pillar (日柱). It represents your fundamental nature — your personality, identity, and how you approach life. Think of it as the protagonist in the story of your destiny.

Each Day Master belongs to one of the Five Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) and has a polarity (Yang or Yin). Yang stems are more outward, active, and expansive. Yin stems are more inward, receptive, and refined.
